Unfortunately, gusts of wind blow the envelope containing the music sheets out of her hands at the airport and another boy finds it. Before he leaves to catch his flight, he gifts Hanon a sheet music for a composition he wrote for her along with a letter. She does this knowing that Sara wouldn't be with him anymore, but is disappointed beyond belief when Tarō announces his decision to fly to Germany to continue studying music and deal with the issue of love. Hanon goes back on her word to move on from Tarō after Sara passed away at the end of the first season. Realizing that Tarō would essentially be held captive forever, her and the other princesses follows him but fails to rescue him.Īfter reaching the castle and freeing Coco and Noel, she witnesses Sara's and Tarō's love still being alive and expresses that she'd let Taro go and move on. Hanon gets to know of Tarō's past affair with Sara and becomes heartbroken upon learning that Tarō still had feelings for her and accepted her invitation to live in the Gaito's castle together. Later on she changed her opinion of the two princesses. In the beginning, she thought of Rina and Caren as struck-up because they'd keep to themselves and Caren would always reject the three mermaids' offers to join them. Hanon meets their music teacher Tarō Mitsuki, whom she starts secretly adoring and refers to as "Tarō-chan". Later on, she and Lucia met Rina and befriended her as well, causing them to develop into best friends. Hanon first meets Lucia at school, in episode 1 of the anime, where they become fast friends. Unlike Lucia Nanami, Hanon came onto land to escape from the water demons that had destroyed her kingdomand forced the mermaids living there to flee.
